The Bowery Presents Pokey LaFarge

Pokey LaFarge comes to Arts at the Armory to celebrate the release of his new album, *Rent Money*. The Illinois-born singer-songwriter is known for blending many strands of 20th-century American music with twanging guitars, lively rhythms, memorable melodies, candid storytelling, and socially conscious themes. The album combines personal reflection and commentary on the anxieties of the present day while continuing LaFarge’s distinctive, genre-defying approach to songwriting and performance.

The venue’s Performance Hall bar serves locally sourced food and drinks when doors open, giving attendees the option to arrive early for dinner and refreshments.
