Artistry in Action: String Masters Series—Yevgeny Kutik, Violin, and Dina Vainshtein, Piano

Artistry in Action’s String Masters Series presents violinist Yevgeny Kutik with pianist Dina Vainshtein in a recital at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Kutik is known for a rich, dark sound, highly precise technique, and interpretations that combine tradition with a contemporary perspective. His repertoire includes both established works and newly composed music, and he also serves as artistic director and cofounder of the Birch Festival.

For this performance, Kutik is joined by Boston pianist Dina Vainshtein, who received the special prize for best collaborative pianist at the 1998 International Tchaikovsky Competition. The String Masters Series is artistically directed by Andrew Mark and is part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Artistry in Action series.
