Chamber Series: America
Cantata Singers’ Chamber Series: America is an intimate chamber music concert tracing approximately 250 years of American folk music and art song. The program connects the country’s musical past and present, creating a broad portrait of American musical history through solo vocal performances.
The concert is directed by chamber series music director Allison Voth, who also performs on piano. Unlike Cantata Singers’ larger-format presentations, this series emphasizes a more personal setting and the expressive power of the human voice.
