Decibels: We Are Fugazi From Washington, DC

Decibels Film Festival presents the late show of *We Are Fugazi From Washington, DC*, an archival portrait of Fugazi as a live band. Rather than a conventional documentary, the film assembles fan-shot concert footage, crowd-sourced recordings, and rare archival material to capture the band’s intensity from the audience’s perspective.

Directed by the filmmakers behind *Heavy Metal Parking Lot*, the film emphasizes both Fugazi’s performances and the fans who documented them. It is intended as a way for longtime listeners to revisit the band and for newer audiences to experience what they missed. The film has been explicitly characterized as a nondocumentary, and *Mojo* praised it for showing “how thoroughly good they were.”
